Guthrie Muscovitch Architects

Guthrie Muscovitch Architects

Guthrie Muscovitch Architects (GMA) was founded as a partnership of corporations in 1988. GMA provides services in architecture, urban design and planning. Principals Randy Guthrie and Arthur Muscovitch provide hands-on supervision of all projects.

GMA is proud to be at the forefront of residential design in Ontario. We believe that good architecture must be creative but also implementable. To this end GMA remains committed to learning and mastering emerging technologies in the interest of construction economy, energy conservation and sustainability.

GMA has maintained an integration of urban planning, urban design and architecture in its practice. We believe that an integrated approach to design provides the firm’s clients with unique opportunities to realize the full potential of their projects.

Our philosophy has contributed to our success in designing the first and largest multiple unit R2000 project in Canada and the first LEED certified townhouse and stacked townhouse project in Canada. Since 1981 the firm has provided architectural design, urban design and urban planning for more than 15,000 units of various housing types in Ontario.
