With Phase 1 now high in the sky and its crane now dismantled, forming momentum at The Residences at Central Park has migrated south, where three cranes are actively advancing Phase 2 of Amexon Development Corporation’s 12-acre masterplanned community at Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue East. Designed by Core Architects, the project is adding five new buildings ranging from 12 to 31 storeys al the east end of North York’s Bayview Village area, directly beside the East Don River ravine and steps from Leslie station on Sheppard Line 4. UrbanToronto last provided an update in October, 2025, when Phase 1 had topped off.
Set into the wooded slope beside the East Don ravine, this November, 2025 view captures the newly completed stair connection linking The Residences at Central Park to the trail system below. The steel stair assembly is formed with exposed stringers and grated treads, with guardrails installed along both sides.
From December, 2025, this view captures Phase 2 advancing at grade, with reinforced concrete walls formed for the ground floor at the south end of the site. Rebar projects from the tops of the walls, while bundled rebar cages will be used in the formation of columns. Three cranes now define the Phase 2 construction zone, supporting the build-out of a shared podium that will anchor one 19-storey and two 31-storey towers, along with roughly 35,000ft² of retail space and a continuous underground garage that links back to Phase 1. At the far right, the fully topped-off Phase 1 tower still with its crane, rises above the site.
Looking southwest along the west edge road, a newly poured concrete wall creates a barrier between the new community and the Richmond Hill GO rail corridor. Exposed rebar makes where subsequent concrete pours will extend the wall. At far left in the distanve, the Presentation Gallery can be seen. Currently the project’s sales pavilion, the standalone structure will eventually be repurposed as an event space.
In this image, activity is split between the early stages of Phase 2 at grade and finishing work on Phase 1’s podium to the left. Along the six-storey base of the completed 31-storey Phase 1 tower, progress continues on slender vertical bands of precast cladding. Above, the colour of the glass balcony guards models a willow leaf, a nod to the natural setting of the nearby ravine landscape.
Looking to the northwest from a distance, Phase 1 stands complete at its 31-storey height with its tower crane now dismantled. The façade is defined by balconies fitted with the project’s distinctive willow leaf-motif guards, while the construction hoist remains attached to the east elevation. To the left, three cranes signal the momentum of Phase 2.
Looking northeast this month, the three cranes now rise over Phase 2 behind branded hoarding. In the background, Phase 1 is all but fully clad. As Phase 2 advances, the broader development is tied together by a continuous underground garage equipped with EV charging at every stall, indoor and outdoor amenity spaces distributed across podium levels, and direct access to the three-acre Central Park Common. Together with new pedestrian pathways and connections to the East Don ravine and nearby transit, the site is steadily transforming into a cohesive residential precinct.
At full build-out, The Residences at Central Park will deliver 1,478 residential suites across buildings ranging in height from 46.5m to 105.9m.
