Cladding installation is now underway at Park Road, bringing definition to the tower’s distinctive curving and wedged-shaped form as it rises in Toronto’s Bloor-Yorkville area. Designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects for Capital Developments, the 28-storey condo occupies a compact island site framed by Church Street, Collier Street, and Park Road. UrbanToronto’s last update was in May, 2025, when construction had climbed above grade.
At the west end of the south elevation, the first cladding sections are taking shape with the installation of gold-toned pre-finished and perforated metal panels framing the glazing. The system alternates between vertical window bays and solid spandrel sections, with horizontal mullions on every second panel.
Seen from across Church Street looking northeast, formwork and decking have advanced to the 12th and 13th floor slabs, and a partially poured 12th-floor slab is visible to the right. Cladding is visible along much of the second level. Temporary staging platforms cantilever from the upper levels of the west elevation. At the intersection of Church and Collier, the building narrows to its distinctive wedge-shaped profile.
From a high-angle view looking northeast, the curving south elevation sweeps toward the sharply tapered west end, contrasting with the straighter north and east frontages. Higher up, the structural frame has reached the 13th floor, where formwork is arranged along the west side in preparation for the next concrete pour. To the east, slab decking is in place for the 14th floor, reaching the halfway mark, supported by newly formed concrete walls below.
At the corner of Church Street and Park Road, metal panels and glazing now wrap the full south elevation and extend onto the east frontage, with a gap at the southeast corner awaiting installation. At grade, black insulation wrap encases the cylindrical concrete columns up to the third floor, while a boom lift positions a worker at the third floor.
Looking east, recent progress shows blue weatherproofing applied at the third-floor slab edge and green weatherproofing in place for the fourth. Along the west-end frontage, the cantilevered volumes begin to emerge, projecting at the 5th, 8th, and 11th floors; formwork and decking are visible at the 11th level and up to the 14th.
Looking southwest across Collier Street, the cladding installation now extends from the east frontage onto much of the north elevation, halting just short of the construction hoist near the northwest corner. The system alternates between vision glass and spandrel panels framed in gold-toned pre-finished metal, with vertical fins and extended mullion caps projecting to accentuate the facade. At the northeast corner, the pattern shifts with paired glass panels that wrap the edge. Glazed units are interspersed with spandrel sections, all framed by solid metal panels. Below, site activity is visible with materials staged along the hoarding.
Once complete, the tower will rise 97.43m and contain 303 residential units.
