There are still greenfield areas of the Greater Toronto Area zoned for development into residential communities, and one of those areas is this one, north of Major Mackenzie Drive and east of Kennedy Road in Markham. Caught by UrbanToronto Forum contributor NW87 with his drone, these former famers fields are at the earliest stage of being prepped for underground services and roads, step one in creating a place to live.
