Mississauga’s skyline is scaling new heights as progress continues at Camrost-Felcorp's Exchange District Condos. Located immediately south of Square One Shopping Centre, the block of four Arcadis-designed towers range from 30 to 72 storeys tall. Since UrbanToronto’s last update in June 2024, all are now above grade, and with EX1 now all but topped off, it is now the tallest skyscraper in Mississauga, having just surpassed the 60-storey, 197.81m M1 and M2 twins at M City.

In the rendering below, the towers are EXS (west corner, the shortest at 30 storeys), EX1 (pink top, south corner, 60 storeys), EX2 (yellow top, east corner, 42 storeys), and EX3 (bluey-white top, north corner, 72 storeys). The two taller towers, EX1 and EX3, stand out with their stacked box designs, each rectangular box set of 6 storeys offset 90 degrees from the one below, and alternately clad in black or white.

EXS was first to top off in the summer of 2023. Below, a view looking east across City Centre Drive shows EXS on the left. Its horizontally striped volume rises from Exchange District's shared podium which is clad in black with vertical white panels separating its windows.

In the next image, we look northeast to EX1 from much further away, its uppermost stacked box being formed, with cladding mostly complete for the lower boxes. In the image below, we see formwork for the 60th and final residential floor on the left, with construction soon to progress to the mechanical penthouse.

Looking south in the next image, EX2 rises approximately 35 storeys, with formwork visible on the 36th floor, with six more and the mechanical penthouse to go after that. Its black-clad 12-storey lower volume rises above the six-storey podium, while the unclad slimmer section above will be clad in white. Green weatherproofing materials line concrete slabs below and above the black volume.

Finally, this close-up view of EX3 shows its first storey above the podium being formed as of this month. Yellow shoring posts support the podium's upper concrete slabs while they continue to cure. Though currently the shortest of the four, EX3 will eventually be the tallest at 72 storeys and 232 metres tall.

While EX1 is currently Mississauga’s tallest skyscraper, nearly topped off at 201 metres, EX3, to be the tallest here, will never be Mississauga's tallest tower, as that distinction will soon pass to M City’s M3, currently under construction and rising to 77 storeys, or 260.29m. We will look at progress on M3 and M City generally tomorrow.

UrbanToronto will continue to follow progress on this development, but in the meantime, you can learn more about it from our Database file, linked below. If you'd like, you can join in on the conversation in the associated Project Forum thread or leave a comment in the space provided on this page.
