UrbanToronto Forum contributor TwinHuey switched his drone to panorama mode for this shot looking southeast over the University of Toronto's St George Campus towards the towers of Yonge and Bay streets, and the city's Financial Core in the distance. In the foreground, the artificial green and blue of the Varsity Centre's field takes prominence, even as an ever-so-slender and tall crane stands dead centre, the members of its red-painted mast and boom somewhat dissolving into the pixelated cityscapes behind it. At its foot, the UofT's Academic Wood Tower rises, while the trees in the surroundings and sedum atop the adjacent Goldring Centre begin to turn yellow and other colours of Autumn.
