One of Toronto's favourite new parks from the last decade is Berczy Park, just across Front Street from the St Lawrence Centre for the Arts, and this image from Summer 2022 by UrbanToronto Forum contributor G.L. 17 shows part of the reason why: the "dog fountain" at Berczy Park continues to attract visitors — and particularly photographers — since it was inaugurated in 2017. Designed by the late Claude Cormier and his team at CCxA, the fountain and its surroundings are a testament to Cormier's ability to "make a splash" and a smile on people's faces whenever the setting called for something grand. The Montreal-based Cormier recently passed away after a battle with cancer.
