Mississauga’s Fairview neighbourhood is witnessing the upward trajectory of the the first tower at the twin-tower project, 185 Enfield Place. This venture, spearheaded by GWL Realty Advisors and designed by Kirkor Architects Planners, comprises a 30-storey and a 35-storey tower. Notably, the site is a mere 300m walk to the Burnhamthorpe stop on the under construction Hurontario LRT that will connect to GO Transit.

Initial plans for the taller tower had it at 32 storeys before being increased to 35. Construction commenced in Spring 2021 with the tower crane's installation, and it has made slow but steady progress since. The taller tower is now approaching topping off this fall.

Rewinding to May, 2021, an excavated pit reveals the newly installed crane, a hint of things to come. The meticulously arranged rebar awaits liquid contrete, while stacked wood foreshadows formwork the foundational columns in the parking levels.

Now in August, as the tower approaches 28 storeys, its cladding installation remains at the halfway mark. Blue weatherproofing wraps the four-storey podium, signifying that exterior finishes will soon be applied here.
