The Regent Park Regeneration has been one of Toronto's great housing success stories, and continues to be. Block by block, the area has been transformed by Toronto Community Housing and The Daniels Corporation from a failed 1940s and 50s social housing experiment into a vibrant mixed-income community with great facilities, new public spaces, and new mixed retail. Recently, UrbanToronto Forum contributor skycandy took photos at the Regent Park Block Party, celebrating the completion of another section of the revitalized area, a new pedestrian mews lined with studios, with the people of the neighbourhood.
