Toronto's downtown skyline seems to rise from a moonscape, well, that or a post-industrial port area in the midst of land remediation and reshaping that will result in a substantial new area of the city, in this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor hawc. While Waterfront Toronto presses on with the work that will create new green spaces for people to enjoys, a new river mouth to improve the ecology of the Don River and minimize its occasional flooding, and new neighbourhoods for people to call home, the current scene is stark… but holds much promise.
