For industry professionals, development enthusiasts, and urbanists alike, this is an event you won’t want to miss, as we dig into a discussion on topics like pushing the limits of building heights, and of course, the defining trends in the GTA real estate and development landscape; and best of all, it’s totally free!

Scheduled for Wednesday March 29th, 1-2 pm, the webinar is titled “The Latest Data on Development Applications and Soaring Building Heights,” and is in partnership with Buildings Canada, with the help of our friends at Informa Connect. The webinar will begin with a presentation from UrbanToronto’s own Research Analyst and Economist, Ash Navabi. The presentation will share exclusive insights from UrbanToronto Pro's Annual Report, a detailed study of last year’s development applications providing observations on the trends and changes that stood out, powered by data from our subscription service, UrbanToronto Pro.

Following the introductory presentation, UrbanToronto’s Managing Editor, Craig White will take over, and welcome our guest panelist, Esteban Yanquelevic, VP of Construction at Mizrahi Developments. Their discussion will consist of a fluid and lively conversation about building tall, covering construction processes, site specific considerations, and Mizrahi’s marquee Toronto project, The One.

This webinar is the first of several upcoming UrbanToronto in partnership with Informa Connect’s Buildings and Construction Group. Speaking to the exciting partnership, Informa Connect Event Manager Glen Reynolds commented, “UrbanToronto’s partnership with Informa Connect empowers the UT viewership with a new level of information sharing, networking, relationship building through our events. Paired together, this partnership provides more information to its collective audiences in new and exciting ways — bridging the digital universe to place viewers in real-time learning and networking opportunities.”

At UrbanToronto, we have been expanding the scope of the company to offer new services centred around our advanced data software, UTPro. Next week’s webinar is just one of the ways in which we are using the capabilities of UTPro to transform data into real observations and analysis, and share it with our audience. Stay tuned for more exciting information about the events we have planned for this year!
