Located just west of the Humber River in the Toronto borough of Etobicoke, Backyard Neighbourhood Condos is a master-planned, mixed-use community with 505 units within three residential buildings. The fourth building of the development is home to retailers and a community health facility. Being developed by Vandyk Group of Companies, the Kohn Partnership Architects-designed complex is over halfway done, with the commercial building and first of three condos already in use, while the second and third condos are under construction.

The commercial building was completed in the summer of 2018, with tenants slowly starting to move into its units at the beginning of 2019. A food co-op remains unopened, with some shelves having been in place now for many months, but no recent movement, leaving this part of Etobicoke considered a "food dessert" for the time being.

The first condo phase, the 7-storey 'Humberview', was completed in early 2020, and saw its first residents move into the building the following June.

Shoring equipment appeared onsite to prepare for the excavation of the second condo, 'The Queensview', in September of 2020, and now, that building stands 10-storeys tall, with just the mechanical penthouse level to form for it to top off.

Ahead of the final level being set in place, cladding has begun to be applied to the lower levels of The Queensview. At street level, an off-white precast has been applied up to the top of the second storey. Up above, panels of brick-faced cladding have been applied, and will reach to the top of the eighth storey, once the building is completed. The two uppermost storeys are to be clad in the same precast as the lowest two levels, according to building renderings.

The third and final condo – to be called 'The King's Mill' – is also underway, right next door. Currently, crews are working on forming the underground levels of the building, which will eventually rise to a height of eight storeys. We can see walls on the lowest level of the garage in the foreground, while a second level of the garage is already underway in the background of the shot.

The complex is only a one-minute drive from The Queensway, and a three-minute drive away from the Gardiner Expressway, with Humber Bay Shores offering skyline views to the south. Prince Edward 66 buses serve the site, connecting to Old Mill station to the north and the Humber Loop to the south. A one-acre POPS will be created at the centre of the completed site, while City parkland is close by along the Humber Valley, with trail connections north up the river, and south to the Waterfront Trail.
