A year-and-a-half after ground was broken, Devron Developments' mid-rise condominium project The Winslow has officially topped off in Toronto's Lawrence Park neighbourhood. Crews recently gathered for a celebration to mark the 9th and final level of the building being formed.
While the Rafael + Bigauskas Architects and ERA Architects-designed condominium development may have topped off, it still has a long way to go, with cladding panels and window glazing to begin installation soon.
While these images were taken on April 12th, the fly forms used to form the final level remain in place today, but will be removed once the level has cured sufficiently.
Upon completion, the project will bring 61 family-sized condominium suites that will range from 1,000 ft² to over 4,000 ft², plus 28 replacement units for the rentals that were located in the building that was removed from the site to allow the construction of The Winslow.
Interiors and finishes of the building will be appointed by II BY IV DESIGN. At street level, new retail space will eventually anchor the homes above to the surrounding shops and restaurants of Yonge Street.
More information on the development will come soon, but in the meantime, you can learn more from our Database file for the project, linked below. If you'd like, you can join in on the conversation in the associated Project Forum thread, or leave a comment in the space provided on this page.
