Bit by bit the new bridges that grace Toronto's Port Lands are getting closer to opening. Each one built in Halifax and barged to Toronto individually, the most recent to arrive was sitting in a temporary position until it was moved in recent days to its permanent resting place on a new of alignment of Cherry Street over the new mouth of the Don River. Captured by UrbanToronto Forum contributor achender yesterday, the graceful white bridge with yellow accents is just one of several that will grace the remediated, rejuvenated, and reclaimed area of the city as it moves from industrial uses to neighbourhood and recreational ones.
