Toronto is a city of suburban single family homes with high-rise peaks interspersed, as can be seen in this December, 2021 photo by UrbanToronto Forum contributor bangkok. Shot from just south of Bloor Street and west of the East Mall, the closest high-rise pockets from left to right are just north of Islington station, just north of Kipling station, and on Dundas west of Kipling Station. When these pockets fuse into one in coming decades, the more distant skylines of Downtown and Humber Bay Shores will be obscured from this view.
