In UrbanToronto's Daily Photo for September 8, UT Forum contributor bangkok points his drone towards one of the first towers of M City in Mississauga. Designed by Core Architects for Rogers Real Estate and Urban Capital, M1 and M2 appear from some angles to have floors that aren't on the level. What's actually happening is that each floor is a parallelogram, not a rectangle, pulled more or less to one corner than the floors above or below, and reversing again every six floors. The buildings appear as if multi-segmented accordions, but a central core that doesn't shift will keep the towers solidly in place for good.
