The intersection of Bathurst Street and Beverley Glen Boulevard in Thornhill is about to look a whole lot different, as work is bringing the initial phases of The Daniels Corporation and Baif DevelopmentsThe Thornhill community closer to the surface. Under construction since mid-2020, the Kirkor Architects-designed complex will be made up of four buildings that share an architectural style and which will range in height from 6 storeys towards the lower-rise neighbourhood to the west, to 25 storeys along Bathurst Street to the east.

The Daniels Corporation has developed a reputation for financing construction of their own projects, an unconventional practice in the Greater Toronto Area condo market. This allows them to often begin work on projects before reaching the sales targets typically required to secure the substantial loans that fund most construction. This is the case with The Thornhill, where the entire four-building complex started construction despite sales at the time only having been launched for the first two buildings.

Excavation is now complete across the entire site, with the complex's garage levels to span the whole footprint. The eponymous 25-storey first phase and 15-storey second phase, The Beverley, are both rising towards street level along the site's Bathurst frontage following recent tower crane installations. A three-level underground garage is progressing quickly, with forming now underway on the P1 level at the site's northeast corner. The P2 and P3 levels continue to take shape to the south and west.

Further to the west, the remaining two buildings—known as Boulevard at The Thornhill— will rise 6 and 12 storeys respectively, transitioning between the taller first phases to the east and the established community to the west. While The Thornhill will bring 313 condominium units to the site and The Beverley will bring another 207, 257 units are planned at the mid-rise Boulevard.
