In 2020, developer Summit View Homes submitted an application to the City of Toronto seeking a Zoning By-law Amendment to permit a new mid-rise condominium development at 4700 Bathurst Street, halfway between Sheppard Avenue and Finch Avenue in North York.

The proposed nine-storey building would bring 142 condominium units to the west side of Bathurst Street, revealed in an early design concept by Daniel Johnson Architect. The building is proposed to rise to a height of 27.85 metres, featuring a stepped massing which would transition it down, on the south side to the height of a house at the foot of Carscadden Drive, and on the north side to a four storey apartment building.

4700 Bathurst has been proposed with a gross floor area of 10,466 m², which would be entirely dedicated to residential space. The unit mix is 4 studio units, 101 one-bedrooms, 16 two-bedrooms, 20 three-bedroom maisonettes, and a single four-bedroom maisonette.

The building would also have 606 m² of amenity space, two levels of underground parking with 157 spaces, (129 for residents, 28 for visitors), and 124 bicycle parking spaces for residents.
