Toronto's West Hill neighbourhood is growing, partially fuelled by a growing student population who attend the nearby Centennial College - Morningside Campus and the University of Toronto Scarborough. Among the several new projects coming to the area, Mutual Developments is now kicking marketing into gear for East Pointe Condominiums. Located on Kingston Road just east of Morningside Avenue, the project will bring an urban presence to the area.
The 11-storey, Kohn Partnership Architects Inc.-designed building is to rise just shy of 40 metres tall on the south side of Kingston Road, with the tower to be backed by a terraced four-storey volume that tapers down to meet the townhome blocks at the rear of the site.
The building is gearing up to offer 105 condominium units in a range of layouts spanning one through three bedrooms. Units will range from 388 to 1,036 ft². Residents will enjoy a selection of amenities featuring interiors appointed by ESQAPE Design, including a fitness centre, party room, a co-working space, boardroom, and an outdoor amenity area with a grilling/cooking area.
The project will place residents in close proximity to the several parks and natural features of the surrounding area, including Rouge Hill Beach on Lake Ontario, the ruggedly beautiful Rouge National Park, golf courses, and a host of hiking and biking trails among the parks of the Highland Creek valley. Residents will be just a four-minute drive away from the University of Toronto Scarborough and Centennial College
Details of the project are emerging gradually, and a registration page is now active, hinting at the release of more information on East Pointe Condos in the coming weeks.
