Our annual Growth To Watch For series is back for another year, bigger, taller, and more comprehensive than ever. This year's Growth to Watch For reports are presented by NEEZO Studios. Over the course of the year, we will bring you to every significant development happening across the 416 and beyond into the Greater Toronto Area. We're covering everything from brand new proposals, to those inching their way through the planning process, to those under construction or about to be completed.
A total of 21 reports from Toronto and additional reports from the surrounding 905 will be available to subscribers throughout the year. (Details of how to get the reports can be found at the bottom of this article.) For a taste of what's offered in the seventh report in our 2020 series, here's a sneak peek at some of the contents.

This instalment of our Growth to Watch For series takes us through a 60 km² area in North York. Covering all developments currently under construction and making their way through the approvals process in the area just north of Highway 401 and west of Yonge Street to Highway 400, the 35.5-kilometre route directs us through the densifying Sheppard Avenue, the transformation of Downsview Park, and the institutional buildings being added to the sprawling York University campus.
The area covered includes a large development node forming in the area east of Wilson subway station. Here, over a dozen condominium and rental buildings are in various stages of planning and construction, adding more residential density to a collection of mid-rise and shorter high-rise buildings that have populated the area in recent years. Projects within this concentration of activity include Nordic Condos, Southside Residences at Gramercy Park, Express Condominiums on the Subway, Tretti Condos, Rocket Condos, and 50 Wilson Heights.
Another large development node is forming one stop to the north around Sheppard West subway station. The area around the station at the Allen Road and Sheppard intersection is home to a long list of proposals. Mid- and high-rise buildings planned to line Sheppard include 1050 Sheppard West and the Greenwich Village Towns complex, while larger master-planned developments are in the works. These include a 54-acre plot of land being targeted for a mixed-use community known as Allen District, as well as the planned development of 500 acres of property at Downsview Park.
York University's Keele Campus is another area experiencing plenty of growth. Now with two subway stations and a growing student body, expansions are in the works which include the Neuroscience Laboratory and Research Building and the under-construction School of Continuing Studies Building. Another phase is also coming for Quad Residences to allow more students to live on campus.
