Our annual Growth To Watch For series is back for another year, bigger, taller, and more comprehensive than ever. This year's Growth to Watch For reports are presented by NEEZO Studios. Over the course of the year, we will bring you to every significant development happening across the 416 and beyond into the Greater Toronto Area. We're covering everything from brand new proposals, to those inching their way through the planning process, to those under construction or about to be completed.
A total of 21 reports from Toronto and additional reports from the surrounding 905 will be available to subscribers throughout the year. (Details of how to get the reports can be found at the bottom of this article.) For a taste of what's offered in the fourth report in our 2020 series, here's a sneak peek at some of the contents.

This edition of our Growth to Watch For series picks up from where we left off at the southwest corner of Bathurst and Bloor in the Annex. Our journey covers 30 km² and begins at Dupont Street, heading west along Dundas through The Junction and turning back east along St Clair, moving north through Forest Hill to Eglinton, and then west again to end at Keele. Mid-rise development is the biggest player in this part of the city, along with high-density developments at major intersections, and the full report will highlight dozens of these active proposals, approved projects nearing construction, and developments already underway.
One stretch undergoing major changes in this neck of the woods is Dupont Street, with this report covering all but the eastern end of the street's run between Avenue Road in the east and Dundas Street in the west. West of Spadina, a stretch of Dupont's rail-abutting north side is home to a growing collection of proposed and under-construction mid-rise developments. Some of the mid-rises covered on this leg of the route include ANX, Bianca Condos, 500 Dupont, Litho, 840 Dupont Street, and 888 Dupont.
A few larger projects are planned for major intersections in the area covered, including the mixed-use, multi-phased redevelopment of Galleria Mall, known as Galleria on the Park, calling for new condominium towers and a replacement of an existing community centre. Another larger project in the pipeline is the proposed redevelopment of the vacant 1467 Bathurst site that would bring three towers to the northeast corner of Bathurst and St. Clair.
An important transit project is reshaping a stretch of Eglinton covered in this report, while also fostering new development above. The Eglinton Crosstown LRT, scheduled to enter service in 2022, has six of its underground stations along this stretch, including Forest Hill Station, Cedarvale Station, Oakwood Station, Fairbank Station, Caledonia Station, and Keelesdale Station. With tunneling complete and these stations already under well construction, one new development called The Forest Hill Condominiums is being planned to include a dedicated entrance to the upcoming Forest Hill Station in its base at the southwest corner of Bathurst and Eglinton.
New Growth to Watch For 2020 reports are to be released on an ongoing basis, each covering a different section of the Greater Toronto Area. The series' upcoming 6th report will move into the North Etobicoke and Weston areas.
