Originally submitted for rezoning in June, 2019, Rockport Group has submitted a revised application for their proposal at 276 Merton Avenue in Midtown Toronto. The latest submission sees a revision in the height, architectural expression, and unit count of the building.

Designed by Wallman Architects, the building has been reduced from 16 to 13 storeys in height, a move that has made a significant impact on the massing and architectural expression of the structure. Originally proposed as a slab tower stretching the depth of the 25 metre wide site, the revised version reconfigures the volume into a series of shifted step backs in a somewhat pyramidal shape. Zig-zag motifs are used in different elements of the design including the precast framing, balcony placement, and specific cladding pieces.

Also revised in this project is the unit mix, previously proposed with 100 units, this version has dropped down to 51, removing all one bedroom suites in favour of almost all two bedroom units (47), boasting an average floor-plan area of 1,400 ft², with the remainder made up of three-bedroom units. The number of below grade parking stalls has increased from 86 to 108.
