We've taken a look at the HOK-appointed amenities at The Thornhill, a new three-tower condominium complex from The Daniels Corporation and Baif Developments coming to Bathurst Street and Beverly Glen Boulevard just beyond Toronto's northern boundary. Today we're returning for a preview of some of the 313 suites in the first phase of the Kirkor Architects-designed complex, ranging in area from 460 ft² up to 1,487 ft².

Towards the more compact end of the range of suites on offer, The Highland is a one-bedroom layout offered on floors 2 through 25, featuring eastern exposures. The suite offers 536 ft² of indoor living space centred around a combined open concept kitchen/living/dining room, with an 145 ft² terrace on the second floor unit and 61 ft² balconies for all units above, resulting in respective total unit areas of 681 and 597 ft².

Among the larger layouts offered in the first phase, The Charlton is a two-bedroom plan found exclusively on the ground floor. This suite offers 934 ft² of indoor living space including a master bedroom with ensuite, a second bedroom, second bathroom, and an open-concept living/dining/kitchen area. The suite also includes a 377 ft² terrace with north exposure, bringing the combined indoor and outdoor living space to 1,311 ft².

The building also calls for suites that meet the stringent criteria of Daniels’ Accessibility Designed Program (ADP), which offers condo suites specifically designed for purchasers who use mobility devices. A pair of ADP floorplans are currently available on the project’s website, including The Burbank, a two-bedroom layout on levels 7 through 11 with west exposures. This layout includes 746 ft² of indoor living space along with a 150 ft² balcony for a combined space of 896 ft².
