Construction is moving along at an impressive rate for the latest phase in The Daniels Corporation's City Centre community at Confederation Parkway and City Centre Drive in Mississauga. Marketed as Wesley Tower at Daniels City Centre, the two-tower, Rafael + Bigauskas Architects-designed condominium complex started construction back in October, 2017, and the project's the 43- and 19-storey tower elements are now rising into the local skyline.

We last checked in on the site roughly one month ago, when forming of the five-storey conjoined podium was wrapping up and the first tower floors were materializing above. One month later, the first several levels have been formed for the tower components, with the project’s 43-storey element now standing 12 storeys high above the site’s Confederation Parkway frontage.

Last month's update also marked the first signs of exterior finishes applied to the podium's exterior, coming in the form of brick panels and a window wall cladding system with clear glazing and white aluminum. This white window wall finishes have since been joined by a contrasting dark-toned window wall system with black aluminum framing and dark spandrel panels, enclosing a large section of the podium.

Work lags slightly behind at the north end of the site, where the second tower currently stands 11 storeys above grade, over halfway towards its final height of 19 storeys. Cladding installation is a few steps behind the 43-storey tower, with only a small section of white window wall and brick panel finishes present.
