Marketing is in full swing for XO Condos from Lifetime Developments and Pinedale Properties, a new two-tower development coming to Toronto's King and Dufferin intersection. The first phase in the pair of Core Architects and Turner Fleischer Architects-designed condominium towers is a 14-storey tower on the southwest corner of the intersection, with 307 suites in a range of layouts from 450 ft² to 1,250 ft² in area, starting from the low $400,000s.
Most recently, a new release of suites at XO called the Platinum Collection has been rolled out. They are a mix of select tower, terrace, and penthouse layouts. Among these, the Terrace Suites range from one-to-three-bedroom layouts with large terraces, measuring from 200 to 1,000 square feet in size, including natural gas BBQ hook-ups for the larger terraces. The collection's Sub-Penthouse and Penthouse Suites located on the tower's upper two levels include one-to-three bedroom layouts from 450 to 1,250 square feet, and panoramic city views. Suites 950 square feet and larger will feature extended 12-foot kitchens with an island.
“We’ve been extremely pleased with how well XO Condos has been received, and we expect the release of the Platinum Collection to add to our sales success,” reads a statement from Lifetime Developments’ principal Brian Brown. “We are confident that XO Condos offerings of a variety of suite layouts and sizes, price points, and engaging indoor and outdoor amenity spaces will prove very popular with those looking to live at this desirable location.”
The release of new suites follows on the heels of the public opening last month for the project's presentation centre, with interiors by Tomas Pearce Interior Design. Housed within the 1906-07-built heritage bank building at 1221 King Street West that the new development will eventually wrap around, the presentation centre offers more details about the project, including information about suite interiors and a scale model of the building. The public can visit the space from noon to 6 PM Mondays through Thursdays, and noon to 5 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
A 50 by 20 foot mural on the presentation centre's exterior was commissioned from renowned Canadian street artist and one-time area resident Daniel Bombardier "Denial" (also known as D3N!@L). The mural's placement is temporary, but it will live on as a permanent installation on the amenity level of the new building.

As sales for the project progress, construction is already on the horizon, expected to begin early in 2020 with the first occupancies targeted to take place as early as Summer, 2022.
