Last month we took our first look at Edenbridge on the Kingsway from Tridel and First Capital Realty, the first building in a multi-phase, mixed-use redevelopment of Humbertown Shopping Centre in Etobicoke. The rollout of marketing material now offers new details about the planned 9-storey building designed by Kirkor Architects, particularly about the amenity spaces that future residents of Edenbridge's 183 suites and 24 townhomes will enjoy.
Interior amenity and common spaces will be appointed by II BY IV DESIGN, with outdoor spaces designed by Forrec. We got a first glimpse at one each of the former and the latter last month, the Grand Lobby and the English Garden. Additional renderings have since been released. Similar to the Grand Lobby, the building’s gym will feature a muted colour palette, and finishes that mirror some of the project’s exterior design features like the coffered ceiling, gridded similarly to the exterior of the building’s punched exterior walls.
The party room shares a similarly elegant aesthetic to the suite of amenity spaces, with a dining area surrounded by large windows and stone finishes.
In addition to the English Garden described in our last article on the Edenbridge, the building will also boast a rooftop amenity terrace, renderings of which show a mix of communal and private seating areas, dining and grilling spaces, a shade trellis, and combination of luxurious stone cladding and ample greenery.
Additional information and images can be found in our database file for the project, linked below. Want to get involved in the discussion? Check out the associated Forum thread, or leave a comment in the field provided at the bottom of this page.
