Today's Photo of the Day features a view of Toronto as seen from a high-rise in the Regent Park neighbourhood, showing a new addition soon to add to skyline views. Captured by Forum contributor skycandy, this shot shows a pair of cranes at the left side of the image, marking the location of the rising CIBC SQUARE south tower. Well on its way to a 49-storey height near Union Station, the office tower will continue to rise 238 metres into the skyline over the next several months.
