Earlier this Spring, new renderings of Tridel's Bianca—a new condominium development coming to 420 Dupont Street—gave us a good look at the project's Teeple Architects design. Now, with marketing for the 9-storey project well underway, we are learning more about Bianca's 245 condominium units, which will come in a mix of 109 one-bedroom units, 98 two-bedroom units, and 38 three-or-more-bedroom units.
Bianca is offering two distinct collections of units within the building, known as the 'Annex' and 'Terrace' collections, each with a variety of suite layouts and finish packages. The 'Terrace' suites make the most out of the building's stepped geometry, which creates a series of large outdoor living spaces.
Renderings depicting the Terrace collection suites show off open-concept spaces filled with natural light, flooding in through large floor-to-ceiling windows. The suites feature kitchens with designer cabinetry and natural stone countertops, and master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.
Complementing the interiors, the Terrace collection's expansive outdoor living spaces provide sweeping views of the surrounding city, in particular of the Toronto skyline. The views are unlikely to be obstructed by future development due to the established low-density building typologies of the neighbourhood to the south of the site.
Residents at Bianca will have access to total of 1,083 m² of amenity space, 507 m² of it indoors, and 576 m² of it outdoors. Bianca's injection of new residential density will be supported by 2,097 m² of at-grade retail space, helping to foster the growth of the neighbourhood's public realm.
