Set to become Etobicoke's tallest building, construction is progressing at Eau du Soleil by Empire Communities. Located at 2183 Lake Shore West, Eau du Soleil is situated in the Humber Bay Shores area, with access to Downtown via the Gardiner Expressway or the 501 streetcar. Construction is now six storeys above grade with the 'C-shaped Podium' growing taller.

Recent construction images portray how the vaulted carport has become more evident at street level. Columns are visible above the fifth floor as the building continues to rise. A rendered view from a similar location, but from several floors in the air above, shows how this area will look upon completion.

Eau du Soleil will feature lots of commercial retail space at ground level, making more shops and restaurants walkable for residents of the burgeoning area.

Eau du Soleil will feature buildings of 49 and 66 storeys with the taller one reaching a height of 228 metres. Upon completion, the towers will become the centre of the Humber Bay Area, knitting together buildings stretched out to the east along Lake Shore, to the north along Park Lawn, and to the west across the Mimico Creek. Designed by Richmond Architects and Zeidler Partnership Architects, Eau du Soleil will feature a variety of amenities including a theatre, an indoor pool and a terrace on a seventh floor. The complex is designed to evoke the feel of a cruise ship.

We will return with more construction updates as the complex continues to rise.
