The Scarborough Bluffs are among one of the Greater Toronto Area's most impressive geological features. The chalky bluffs gave Scarborough its name, a nod to the large bluffs found in the coastal town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England. In today's Photo of the Day, submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Francisco Silva, we are shown an aerial view of the Scarborough Bluffs, with a distant Toronto skyline backdrop.
