On St. Clair Avenue West, just west of Poplar Plains Road, Madison Homes and Fieldgate Homes are adding a new 11-storey, Kirkor Architects-designed condominium development to the growing collection of mid-rise buildings on the stretch. ZIGG Condos will add 166 condominium units to the area, in one, two, three-bedroom and townhome plans ranging in size from 500 square feet up to 1,776 square feet. To give prospective buyers a taste of what units at ZIGG will offer, a virtual suite tour has been released, showing off a fly-through rendering of a suite and its features and finishes.

The video starts off in the suite's main living area, a large combined kitchen/living room with 9-foot ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and sliding doors leading to a terrace. The main living area offers ample natural light, and dining space between the kitchen and living room areas.

Kitchens at ZIGG offer designer-selected cabinet finishes, natural stone countertops, fully integrated refrigerators and dishwashers with cabinetry panel, built-in microwave ovens and vent hoods, drop-in, easy cleaning glass surface cook-tops and built-in wall ovens.

The tour then moves into the bedroom which is predominantly furnished in neutral shades with splashes of accent colour.

The video then moves on to give a quick glance at the suite's bathroom, where purchasers are offered features like natural stone countertops, frameless glass shower enclosures and white acrylic soaker tubs.

Back in the main living area, the terrace doors slide open taking us outside. ZIGG's name is derived from the ziggurats of ancient Mesopotamia, stepped pyramids that are recalled here in the south side terraces of the building. One ZIGG, the terraces are much larger than an average balcony with more than even enough space for al fresco dining, outdoor lounging (with or without an umbrella), and planters for your green thumb.
