Condominium developments make up a large percentage of the new-build homes being built in Toronto, but many home buyers prefer the privacy offered by single-family homes over the high-density, urban lifestyle associated with condos. Buyers looking to move in to well-established low-density neighbourhoods are being attracted to developments like Dunpar Homes' The Ossington Luxury Townhomes, a new townhouse development consisting of 54 three-storey townhouses, ranging in size from 1,500 to 2,000 square-feet, and starting in price in the low $800,000s. Located near Dupont and Ossington, the development offers two different collections, known as the London Collection and the Manchester Collection.

While the Ossington townhomes are not built yet, Dunpar has built a model of one of their Manchester Collection homes on Acorn Avenue in Etobicoke's Six Points neighbourhood. A video tour shows off the interiors of the home, giving potential purchasers a look at one of Dunpar's offerings on Ossington.

Manchester Collection units will feature finishes like granite or marble kitchen countertops with full granite or marble backsplashes, marble counter tops in ensuite bathrooms, 3 ¾ inch red oak hardwood flooring in main floor living/dining rooms, second floor hallways, and oak stair risers. The units will also contain stainless steel appliances, gas fireplaces, soaker tubs in ensuite bathrooms, private indoor garages and large private rooftop decks.

The townhomes are situated in the trendy Ossington Village, within walking distance of some of the city's most culturally vibrant neighbourhoods, like Little Italy on College, Hillcrest and Wychwood Villages, Corso Italia on St. Clair, and The Annex.
