Only a few decades ago, the area surrounding what is now referred to as the Rogers Centre was sparsely inhabited and lacking in retail, amenities and overall street life. In the years since, the area has filled out with new condominium and office growth, and is now well connected to the surrounding downtown area. In today's Photo of the Day, submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Vik Pahwa, we can see the newly-constructed 300 Front Street West condominium tower standing tall to the north of the Rogers Centre.
