The Bond is now well under construction in the Entertainment District, with concrete and steel now above grade, and Lifetime Developments, the developer behind the 40-storey condominium project, recently launched a social media campaign called "Connect and Capture" on Instagram. The campaign comes in the form of a photo contest, and Instagram users are being asked to submit their photos using the hashtag #BondTO for the weekly chance to win $50 gift cards for restaurants in the Entertainment District.
If gift cards aren't your thing, there is still a much more important reason to enter the contest: For every submission, Lifetime will make a $1 donation to Lifeline Foundation, a charitable foundation started by Lifetime Developments in 2013. With this foundation, Lifetime is aiming to provide aid and support to Toronto's homeless and at-risk communities by raising awareness and funds and by facilitating various hands-on initiatives and on-the-street activities to improve the lives of those at risk.
