Park Towns at Bayview and Sheppard by Broccolini has sold out, and quickly at that, soon after opening sales at the new townhouse complex to the public. The high demand comes as news of slow down in the residential market, yet development along Sheppard Avenue East continues to boom, with a number of high-rise condominiums as well as mid-rise developments popping up along the subway line.

Michael Broccolini, Vice President of Business Development and Finance at Broccolini, commented on the strong sales. "We believe the sheer speed at which residences sold out demonstrates the strength of this market, particularly when consumers are presented with quality products and such remarkable value," Mr. Broccolini explained. "Our research told us that there is a demand for newly-constructed condo-town homes in this part of Toronto, featuring designs for everyone from families with children, to single professionals."

The units are contained in one building, designed by SMV Architects, with landscaping firm MMM Group Limited designing a cobblestone courtyard in front of the building surrounded by lush patches of trees and carefully sculpted lawns.

The 50 'urban townhomes' come in layouts with of one, two, or three bedrooms, appealing to a range of purchasers, anyone from families with children, to couples, to single buyers. Units started at $250 000, with the most expensive being $565 000. Working together with SMV, interior design firm Bryon Patton and Associates were tasked with designing the interiors. Park Towns Bayview and Sheppard boasts nine foot ceilings and private rooftop terraces.

Construction of the four-storey building is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2014, the first residential development in Toronto that the Montreal-based Broccolini has undertaken. The project is located across from Bessarion subway station.
