A nod to Yorkville's reservoir of 19th century architecture, the "urban carpet" being laid at the base of the Four Seasons Hotel & Residences is a playful contradiction to the disciplined towers that rise on its perimeter. Designed by Claude Cormier Landscape Architecture, the carpet is composed of eight tonnes of red cobblestones assembled around a 12-meter cast iron fountain that will form the centrepiece of the building's main entrance. What are your thoughts on the design?
Developed by Lifetime Developments, Menkes and Alcion Ventures, construction on the Four Seasons Hotel & Residences is nearing completion. The two-tower project was designed by architectsAlliance.
