It's not too long now until Victory is declared on King Street West - declared done, that is. Topped off several months ago now, the building still faces several months of finishing work before the last nail is sunk and carpet is laid. In the meantime however, Lifetime Developments tours the construction site as invites UrbanToronto readers in for a look at the progress on the Wallman Architects-designed building.
This is the finished look for the building's King Street facade of course.
At the west side of the building is the Porte Cochere, allowing vehicular access. You can see it both rendered above, and in its current state below. To its left is a walkway to the retail patio and the courtyard.
Here's the retail patio, part covered, part open.
The brick-lined patio area will be home to two restaurants.
At the north end of the Porte Cochere, we look up at the building's northwest wing.
Inside, finishing working is underway. This is the space for the second floor dining room and lounge.
Below we see where the home theatre will be.
A visit to a suite shows that kitchen cabinets, appliances, and some finishes have been installed.
Similarly, most of the work has been completed in this bathroom.
This unit looks out to the courtyard to the north of the building.
We climb to the rooftop.
We are on the roof.
Penthouses with floor-to-ceiling views.
Looking down from the rooftop, we see the north courtyard below, now being landscaped.
Finally, this is the view to the south from the Penthouses.
