On Monday we took a look at plans by Loblaws to convert, what was originally their warehouse at Bathurst and Lakeshore, into a new Loblaws store. Today we look at another positive move on the heritage front by Loblaws. This photo by forum member tomms shows the interior of Maple Leaf Gardens as it is being redeveloped. Loblaws will be taking the ground level for a new store. Meanwhile Ryerson University will be using the upper level as a skating rink and sports centre.

Good to see the former home of the Maple Leafs finally come back to life. Find the original larger version of this photo here. Very recommended!
