Uptown Residences condos are nearing completion as this photo shows. The Art Deco inspired building is something rare in a city where all-glass towers rule the day. There's been plenty of discussion within the forum as to whether this building gets a passing grade or not. Here's a close-up of the roof. What do you think?

The Pemberton Group developed condo rises 48 storeys on Balmuto just south of Bloor. The Burka Architects designed project sits on the site of the former Uptown Cinemas. Many more pictures can be found here.
