Photos taken yesterday from the 11th floor deck at 39 Parliament Street. 39 was one of the original condos built more than a decade ago in the Distillery District. Photos show Cityscape Development Corp's completed Pure Spirit condos up-close along with images of the Distillery from above. The second to last photo shows the construction crane for the soon to rise Clear Spirit condos. This new phase will feature 40 and 35 storey towers. All three phases were designed by architectsAlliance. There's been a very fierce debate within the Urban Toronto forums about the appropriateness of these tall modern towers within the historic district. We rather like them them. What do you think?
