Yonge Subway Early Closure between Lawrence and Finch (June 22, 2008-Jan 2009)

In a nutshell:
-Subway will close at 12:30am between Lawrence and Finch Station, Sunday to Friday evenings, meaning last trains to Finch leave downtown at midnight
-Saturday night service remains the same
-Buses will replace subway service:

• 36 Finch West, 39 Finch East, 60 Steeles West, 53 Steeles East will all run to Lawrence Station
• 97 Yonge will run between Davisville and Finch every 10 minutes to supplement service
• Combined headway ~2 minutes
• Sheppard Subway will run onto north platform to ease transfer between buses and that line, and will run as usual

-Early closure will last until early 2009.

I wonder whether Viva could run their buses down to Lawrence? Or does Viva run that late?

Viva only runs until midnight, so there's no problem there.

in my opinion i would have cut service at Eglinton.. i know it might not be as big of a deal at that hour, but lawrence isnt accessible but eglinton is.. and theres more bus bay capacity there
