Woodbine Centre

realistically, who do you think would bid for the mall. I can see woodbine being redevelopment into a life style centre.

I know nothing about this scale of real estate but I would think that many groups will be interested. How many 50 acre sites are left in the city?

There's no law against someone's alter-ego making a bid on a foreclosed property.

In all seriousness, it would seem we have a little over two weeks left to visit the Woodbine, right?

The day the Fantasy Fair gets torn down is gonna sting for a lot of us. Depending on his budget, I do know of a wealthy land developer
that may purchase some of the rides for another attraction in Toronto...
someone should just renovate the mall, and make it like Square One mall...Cine Starz is STILL there!!!

If anyone knows a GOOD (Mall owner company) that can (breathe life) into this mall, let Colliers Know.

The for sale sign is just a ploy to get people to come visit the mall again. Don't be fooled, people.

In other news, I've also heard the Woodbine Centre now doesn't feature air conditioning. It's little things like these that add a spice of life
to a valued customer's shopping experience.

YUCK, Woodbine Mall doesnt have "Air Conditioning" It came out in 1985, 1985!!!!!!!! other malls that debut in 1973 have "Air Conditioning"

People tend to forget just how much of an impact the Woodbine Centre had when it first opened it's doors back in 1985. The Fantasy Fair alone gave families
the perfect incentive to visit the mall, and the locals something to brag about once upon a time.

It's sad to think the Woodbine presumably won't make it to it's 40th anniversary next year. Though, some of us would rather forget the mall's last ten years of
existence.

Last week, I reached out to Woodbine's General Manager and Fantasy Fair staff to see if they would be willing to sell parts of the Fantasy Fair. In the interest
of full disclosure, I was in contacts with an upstart entertainment venue on the city's east end that expressed interest in purchasing several pieces from the
Fair.

Given the mall's bid date set for the 24th, I wasn't surprised that I didn't get a response back. Rumours of the Fair already being sold to a private buyer could
very well be the case here.

I was planning on going past to see if I could buy a bench off of them.
