I'm curious, how many of us here at urbantoronto live in condos, houses, rentals, low-rise, high-rise, etc.

Myself? As of June, I'll be back in our four level semi in Cabbagetown, which we've owned since the mid-1990s. Before that I lived in a basement apartment on Glebeholme Ave. north of Danforth on Woodbine.

lowrise junction/high park. I like moving around. Renting is flexible. I get to explore the city and other cities. I'm in love with living simply: parquet floors, laminate countertops, minimalist bathrooms. I'm going around condo sales centres asking if they have these options (amusing to see their response re: parquet.) Plus, buying means commitment: something i hate whether it be women real estate or even a steady job;)

Good point, and since a boat is really just a floating trailer, I've mashed them together now. (Maximum of 10 options to these things.)

Since I moved out in university, I've been living in a different apartment every year, each a little better than the last. Come month's end I'm finally moving into a semi-permanent apartment, probably the last step before I either buy property or settle down with someone. I totally can't wait - it's a huge step up from anything I've lived in before in both quality, height, and unfortunately price.

What if someone lives in a condo townhouse, or rental detached house? How do they vote? I live in a freehold townhouse, so I can choose Townhouse/Row House option easy. But the vast majority of other people living in townhouses are living in townhouses that are condos, so what do these people choose?
