Where can I sell a Krugerrand?

I want to sell a one ounce Krugerrand (it's a South African gold coin). I think the banks will only trade in Canadian Maple Leafs. Anyone know a reputable dealer in the GTA?

Krugerrands? All of the banks buy and sell the Canadian Maple Leaf gold coins I believe. I haven't found one that will buy Krugerrands though.

As US says, Scotia Mocatta buys and sells them, though you can proably go through a Scotianank branch to do it.

There's often quite a queue at Scotia - especially when gold prices are fluctuating.

Try Express Gold Refining Ltd.

It may be a little intimidating, but they will pay you cash, you don't have to deal with TV cartoon characters like Russel Oliver, and won't have to record all your personal details, like they do at Scotia.

Also, their spot rates are good. I've bought both Gold and Silver from them.

It may be a little intimidating, as you have to get buzzed in, etc, but I think it is worth the try.

The whole building is full of metal dealers/jewellers.
