From the renders I feel like in 20 years no one will care when this gets torn down for something bigger and of higher quality.

Uh god.....at least it's better than that grey 5 floor medical office building on Dundas.....Mississauga could use some better commercial construction then this....

Agreed. But note that this shot was taken from Lakeshore Rd., and most of that green was there before the project.

CIBC is to open their new offices on Oct 2 in this building on the ground floor in the post office area and the new section along Lakeshore.
Once CIBC moves, it will allow the city to tear now the current CIBC build down and reline the intersection as a true north-south street as well remove a set of light. Will make the intersection more pedestrian friendly. Have heard a December start up for the work, but more likely a 2018 project.
POSTA Italbar Cucina has taken over the rest of the ground floor and is setting up now. Will have a nice patio to eat on next year and work is still underway on it.
One thing that stands out with the old Post Office, they left a few original doors in place to the point people will try opening them with no success, since they are display doors only.
