Longer, yes.

But not 50% longer. They're adding 2 more tracks to the overpasses which already carry 7 (Sherbourne) and 6 (Jarvis).

The Jarvis bridge is being widened by 9.86m, from the existing 30.7m. The Sherbourne bridge is being widened by 9.9m, from the existing 26.5m.

One at parliament and 1.5 at sherbourne
I guess they cut the bolts off and lifted the tower down in sections last night.
Way ahead of schedule now.

They are all gone except for a few feet of the bases. Rode the GO today and there are just a bunch of piles of scrap now and not a lot else.

Ooh it's the hydro towers. It took quite awhile for me to tell what was supposed to be different. I was looking at the foreground and mid ground.

So much cleaner. The eastern Gardiner / Rail Corridor always seemed like such an infrastructure mess - this will hopefully help clean it up a bit.
