If its any wonder this project has required the time it has this report shoulde give a good idea why. Not only are there an extensive number of projects, but the scale and scope of many of them is quite large. I would imagine this area will be almost unrecognizable from its current state in a decades time.

Also worth pointing out is that there is 11 million set aside for "Gardiner Scoping & EA". Given that most all proposals centered around the waterfront have called for the Gardiner to be scraped it might not be too long before haters of this highway get their wish and are presented with a plan to see it dismantled.
