TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

4566 is now tracking and in the yard along with 4576. All other test cars in the service bay.
One day when CTV updates their intro, the CLRV shot will either replace with a Flexity or something else. No big deal

Maybe they will go all in and just show a series of car crashes? Car crashes and shootings are the first 15 minutes of every single days CTV News anyway. Things that shock and scare the elderly are the target as that's the only profitable network news filler. It's great too because you don't have to send out anyone who talks on camera there, and therefore earns any real money. Just get some guy to show up and take a ten second clip of the wreckage or a body under a yellow tarp, a five second quote from the cop, then loop that three times and boom, killed off 10% of the broadcast with only one person in under 20 minutes of work. News broadcast done for less than $1,000! Now play the Oliver Jewelry commercials.

This board has 10x the real news and information CTV Toronto does and it has been that way for 15 years. They almost certainly have their minimum wage 'newsroom' employees (likely based somewhere like Moncton, if even in Canada) check in here to pick up on stuff to write about.

The news coverage on a lot of these local news stations is essentially just weather, traffic reports, and "someone somewhere stabbed/shot/murdered/arrested/kidnapped/raped/drowned/hit by car" all day long. They're so pathetic that I actively try my best to avoid tuning in to that at work or on the TTC.

As we get closer to the October Federal election, expect to see more political candidates shaking hands, kissing babies, and (oh yes) free food and drinks with music played in the background. While traffic congestion slows everyone else not at the gatherings.

Don't forget TIFF! ZOMG CELEBRITIES!!!!!!!!
Of course, you won't get home in time to watch the 6:00 p.m. news if you have to use the King Streetcar.

Traffic congestion will slow the automobile obsessed candidates down! Also 4519 was on the 501L the other day

Noticed today on newer cars (this one was 4562) they're doing the gangway floorplates a little differently. Always thought the two rubber flaps were covering up something but turns out they're not even necessary.

4566 testing near Sunnyside loop.

Looks like 4563 just went into service on 504 https://www.transsee.ca/trippath?a=ttc&id=109719444
4566 still out testing.
4553 was still in the service bay at 8 am and in the service track area most of the day after its short in service run, Most likely an in service test before its first service run this week.
4576 been in the service track area most of the week.

4563 was in service for 7.5 hours yesterday and is heading out on 511 now, so presumably some small bug needed to be fixed.
