TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

April 28
4647 has been off loaded and most likely head to Russell since it has space now.

4643 has been moved from Russell to Leslie for more work like 4632 before both car can enter service this week.

Not bad looking cars considering the T14 were better than the Outlook and what I shot when I was there in 2012.

I find this is odd considering what we do in NA before an LRV/Tram is place into service

The 14 Ts were definitely not better than our Flexitys - the whole fleet was grounded in 2014 due to cracks in the front modules, and the last of the repairs were not completed until 2020 or so. Apart from that, they, like the Flexitys, have non-rotating trucks, I'm not sure what is supposed to be better about the 14 Ts other than their subjective appearance.

April 30
4643 has enter service on 510 after 27 days.

4642 is back over at Russell after been sent back to Leslie and will enter service on 503 this week.

May 5
4647 started street testing on Thursday
4642 will enter service on Monday on route 503 at start of service
4645 and 4646 still in Lezlie Barns being prepared to be move to Russell for SWIS and then enter service next week or so.
4648 is another missing car as usually with CPKC dropping off 4649 at Hillcrest on May 1. A fail attempt to off it on Friday and most likely be off loaded Monday

I'm assuming you mean 4632. It did not, it's still in its prison cell at Russell that it has been for almost a week now.
I type in the wrong car number and 4632 is having issues.

These new cars are having way more problems than the original ones that are taking 2.5 to 4 times longer to entering service and to go out of service within days. Then most have arrived out of order which wasn't the case with the first batch.

4649 was off loaded today

May 8
4632 has finally enter service on 305/506 after been here 30 days. One of the rare cars that have entre service not on 503 or 501.

4645 and 4646 still being prep to be move to Russell for SWIS work before entering service.

4647 has or about to complete testing and burn in

4649 being prepared for testing and burn in

April 14
4645 has finally made its way over to Russell for SWIS work considering it arrived April 10. Been sitting in the same spot on the service track the past week and must have been waiting for a part. This will allow TTC to off load 4648 now that there is room for it.

4648 been sitting the Hillcrest off loading ramp since Sunday and should be off loaded today.

4646, 4647 and 4649 still being prepare to be move to Russell for SWIS work and then enter service.

If TTC had the overhead crew string the 3 yard tracks this past month, they would be able to store 9 more cars at Russel with another 3 ready to be done. The last 3 should be ready this summer.

4645 Has enter service May 20/2025 (40 days On Route 503). It looked ready to enter service on Saturday, but back in the service bay Sunday

4646-49 are still in Leslie service bay with 4648 still yet to start testing after arriving May 15/2025

4646 has enter service May 29/2025 (44 days On Route 503). It was still in the yard at 6:30 when I left home. It left the yard around 7:30am

4647 was moved yesterday to Russell for SWIS and should be in service next week

4648 is still doing burn in and testing.

4649 kook like it fail its first burn an testing as it been out testing at night time this past week. It arrived May 05 and in the service bay

4650 is at the loading dock waiting to be off loaded after been drop off yesterday. It was seen on Sunday in Toronto on a train from TB.

Once 4650 is off loaded, only 14 more cars to be delivery

4647 entered service today on 503 after 40 day. It was still in the service bay late Friday Night and did not have time to check Sat morning, otherwise, I would have seen it in service. Found out hours later it was in service when it went by me and could get a shot as the camera refused to fire. Did get it on its return trip..

A while ago someone stated that there were staff shortages etc that meant even with the new streetcars there wasn't much new service on the streets. Has that since changed? Just curious if we now have more capacity on the streetcar system or not.

It was reported a few days ago that TTC 4471 & 4478 were on TTC property again after 7 years with no one seeing it at TTC or Lambton. It has now been confirm by photo that 4478 is sitting in CP Agincourt yard now. It may show up at Hillcrest later this week after 4651 has been off loaded. 4471 could be at Agincourt with no shot of it or is in transit.

The question is, have the cars been rebuilt?? Is TTC =going the rebuilding of them or use them for spare parts
