Applications for Zoning By-law Amendment, Subdivision & Condominium were submitted to the city in December 2022 by the Islamic Society of York Region with the following description:
To facilitate a high density, mixed-use development comprised of three (3) 11-storey residential buildings, three (3) 10-storey residential buildings, one (1) 4-storey mixed-use building containing residential and office uses and one (1) 2-storey institutional building containing a school and place of worship, with a total of approximately 960 dwelling units and 1,055 parking spaces on the eastern portion of the subject lands.
